Gary Rosiere Obituary

ROSIERE Gary L. Rosiere, Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2006. Age 75 years. Beloved husband of 54 years of Mary Claire Rosiere. Loving and devoted father of Gary L. Rosiere, Jr. and his wife Allison Rosiere and Marie Dalme and her husband Brian Dalme. His grandchildren that he adored are Jeffrey, Tiffani, Nicholas and Heather Dalme and Allie Rosiere. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene C. and Claire I. Rosiere; and his brothers and sisters, Olga Neyrey, Mildred Gourgeot, Earl Rosiere, Phyllis Greer, Lester Rosiere, Sr., Haydee (Tootsie) Turgeau, Eugene Rosiere, Jr., Francis Rosiere, Sr., Louis Rosiere, Sr., and Audrey Rosiere. Mr. Rosiere was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Harvey for the past 28 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero, LA on Friday, April 28, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Uncle Gary lives in our hearts and minds. Growing up with his laughter and singing was an added plus in my life. He is now home with Jesus and in the arms of those that went before him. He will be missed.
