Genya Shifer at her home on Sunday, August 11, 2002. Age 88. A native of Odessa, Ukraine and resident of Metairie, LA. for the past 13 years. She was a devoted wife of 47 years of the late Yuri Magidovich. Loving mother of Tatyana Kvastel of Metairie and Alexander Magidovich of Afula, Israel. Grandmother of Anatoly Kvastel, Marina Kvastel, Danny Magidovich of Afula, Israel, Mark Alexander of Sydney, Australia. Mother in law of Alexander Kvastel. Also survived by two great-grandchildren.
