Although I knew it was near the end of life for another precious relative, it was a sad evening when I heard that your Daddy had passed away. My thoughts and prayers have been with you. I do miss him, as he and I kept in touch ever since Bettie Jane has been gone. Buddy was a very special man who loved his family very much, and looked forward to the day when he would be reunited with your Mother. Your loss is Heaven's gain.

Love to you all,
Your Cousin Vicky

Recently as I tried to contact Buddy from Germany I learned of his declining health. A few days later I received the sad news of his death. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you all for the loss of your father, grandfather and brother. I personally will be forever grateful to Buddy for his interest in Germany and efforts to make connections with the German Mays.

You can always remember having a loving dad who was so intelligent and not only taught you so much but provided for you so well. I was very impressed with the wonderful care you gave Buddy and every effort to make him comfortable. Try to remember the good times. The service was beautiful. Prayers and sympathy to each of you(Especially to Jeremy--as Buddy and I shared a grandson).

I will always remember the good times we had at your house with your dad. I always liked spending time at your house with your family. Your dad always had lots of jokes to tell and "strange" foods for me to try. I always think of him whenever someone mentions oysters and how he made me eat a raw one. I still cannot eat them raw! He was always a true gentleman. I hope he is happy and at peace now. I will pray for peace for your family. love you, Bridget
