George Steele Obituary

STEELE George 'Schoolboy' Steele, Sr. passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008. He was 84. Mr. Steele was born in Stonewall, Mississippi, but moved to New Orleans at the age of 10. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He served in the United States Army for 4 years. He leave behind his beloved wife Letha C. Steele, 9 children, 27 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also survived by a hos of brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip St. at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. CHARBONNET-LABAT DIRECTORS, 581-4411
