It's hard to believe Uncle Jerry entered His Kingdom so many years ago. I was sharing with my wife, our children and a St. Claude Heights friend just a couple of days ago. We were comparing the canal and pipeline in Arabi to the alley and servitude in Vista with one another. Then we started naming neighbors. From there came memories, all sorts. Uncle Jerry and the family were so fondly remembered. It's just so coincidental that such detailed memories appeared.

Thanks Uncle Jerry and Family for being so wonderful to our Vista Families.

May Uncle Jerry continue his work for our Lord and greet those who join him with open arms.

Mrs Connie, Joey and the rest of the family. I am so sorry for your loss. We may not have kept up with each other through the years but you and Jerry were never far from my heart. I loved him very very much and have him to thank for every sucess in my career and for the man I am today. Because my father died when I was so young, Jerry was the one who taught me the right way to do business and life. He was truly a man with biggest heart and his love for you, his family, filled his heart.
Mrs Connie remember when you and Jerry taught my daughter to read using the "The Foot Book", on one of our visits to your house, that is one of my daughter's earliest memories (she is now 21)and it made such an impression on her that she bought the book this past Christmas for her 3 year old niece and told her that this very nice man and woman had taught her how to read with the same book and she wanted to do the same for her.
I cannot express to you enough how special Jerry was to me and for the love I will always have for him in my heart, May our Lord God continue to bless you all, and RIP my friend!!!

Some people pass through this world and leave it just as they found it, but people like "Mr. Jerry" take the time to do special things for others that make the world more beautiful.

Thank you my friend for giving others hope and for making a difference.

May your "Great Light" continue to shine among our Heavenly Father and his Angels.

What a wonderful Man and neighbor!! I had the pleasure of growing up across the street from him and his awesome family, and can say without hesitation that he was by far the happiest man I have ever known. He will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know him! My condolences to Mrs. Connie, Jerrilyn, Cindy, Joey and Stephen, Scott, Stephanie and all of his wonderful family members.

To the Entire LeRouge Family:
It is with deep sympathy that I express my feelings to acknowledge the passing of Uncle Jerry. Ever since a kid, I knew he was a funny guy, totally harmless, and non-confrontational, and that I so dearly appreciated. Uncle Jerry was an active part of the community, never trying to take front stage, but always able to make a bad moment seem so fun. I know he will be missed dearly by the family.

I will continue to pray that he joins the other guardian angels your family has protecting you and that the family is able to move past these times and continue to grow.

May the Lord's blessings be with each and every one of you.
