Carolyn, I want to express our sincere condolences for the loss of your mother. She was my Sunday School teacher at Mt. Carmel back in the day. I still remember things she taught. She was also the seamstress for my wedding too! Sis. Handy was just a beautiful person and an inspiration to us all. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort. The Tate Family

Dear Carolyn, you were a little girl when your mom made my going-away outfit and other dresses for my honeymoon. Your mom was a wonderful lady, a super seamstress and an all around good person.

Sis. Gladys Handy, a jewel of a lady who gave me my first childhood Bible at Communion. She served wholeheartedly, willingly and graciously unto The Lord and others. Sis. Handy's excellence and purity will certainly be missed. Family, be strengthened in the Good Lord as you remember the numerous joys she left here on earth to cherish.
