I was shocked to learn of Gordon's passing as we had just spent several hours together on Saturday previewing some listings here on the Coast. Although I had talked to Gordon a number of times on the telephone, this was our first meeting. I enjoyed his perceptiveness and his humor even while I closed my eyes a few times while he was at the wheel. He was a kick.

To Family and friends of Linden. I pray the Lord to comfort you at your time of loss. I grew up next door to Linden. I have good memories of him. When he was playing ball he asked me to go with him. I held the ball for him, and he kicked a 60 yard field goal. Thanks for the memories, Linden.

Dear Beth,Gordy,Lynn,and Family,
It was a total shock to me when Irene's called me and told me about Gordon's death. Then, I had to break the news to a real good friend's JoAnn. I still can't hardly believe it. I am so very sorry that I can't pay my last respects to my friend's Gordon and all of you,I'm out of state, "With sympathy- My thoughts are with you,Beth,Gordy,Lynn,and Family during this time of loss and sadness. I know what I'm about to say, everyone that knew Gordon's would agree with me.
He was truly a wonderful and great husband,father,brother,son, and a fantastic friend to all that knew him."There is a special place in our heart carved out just for memories of Gordon's"."His memories are a keepsake of time that lives forever in our hearts". Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we will hold in our hearts forever...."His death leaves a heartache no one can heal,love leaves a memory no one can steal"....Those we love don't go away,they walk beside us every day.Unseen,unheard,but always near,so loved,so missed,so very dear...."Perhaps they are not stars in the sky,but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy"....
There will come a day when your tears of sorrow will softly flow into tears of remembrance...and your heart will begin to heal itself...and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy...and you will hear the whisper of hope. There will come a day when you will welcome the tears of remembrance....as a sunshower of the soul...a turning of the tide...a promise of peace. There will come a day when you will......risk loving.....go on believing....and treasure the tears of remembering.

It came as quite a shock when we found out the Gordon had passed away. Jim and Gordon go back almost 40 years and he will never forget the vibrant, passionate and determined Gordon to get the business at hand done. We both have great memories of Gordon's views on any subject that came up over the years at dinners, galas, or just a glass of wine at your home...Now we both extend our deepest sympathies to all of you and say a prayer that his love and passion will comfort you till you meet him again. It is with deep sorrow to learn of the death of Gordon,although i knew him for a short time he made me feel i knew him a lifetime.
I have found comfort in the enclosed prayer when I lost my beloved Son.and would like to share it with you.

Gordon, you will be missed by all in the worst way. Only a few of us old "yard leaguers" will remember what a splendid athlete you were in all sports. Our times together in high school and college continue to bring laughter to everyone. Back then, everyone had a nickname that continues to this day and forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to Beth, Gordy, Lynn, and their families. Don't get too upset, but in kicking goals, as we did so often at the Parade Grounds, just you and me, I just punted one over your head. Godspeed, old buddy. I'll meet you at Port Vincent in the sky.
