Gustave Stewart Obituary

STEWART Gustave (Steve) Stewart, Jr. departed this life on Monday, September 9, 2013, at the age of 66 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave Stewart Sr., and Willie Mae Morgan Stewart, two brothers, Glennwich and John C. Stewart, and a sister, Aserline Stewart. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty B. Stewart, three loving daughters, Collette M. Stewart Briley, Tiffany R. Stewart (Clarence Carner) and Gaynelle L. Stewart Davis (Patrick); a brother Edwin Stewart Sr., two sisters, Arlene S. Bornes and Barbara S. Day (Joseph), two granddaughters, Yugenia N. Briley and Kierston-Kai R. Carner, his father-n-law, Lawrence W. Blunt Sr., a brother-in-law, three sister-in-laws, three godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star MBC, Upperroom Bible Church, Household of Faith Family Worship Church, New Faith Church (Houston, TX) and St. James Methodist Church of LA, officer, and members of Supreme Council of LA, Martha Grand Chapter, OES, Friendship Chapter No. 25, OES and New Orleans Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.. are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. James Methodist Church, 1925 Ursulines Avenue, for 10:30 a.m. Rev. Joseph A. Tilly officiating. Church Visitation 8:30 a.m. until hour of service. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Military Honors.
