I am so sorry, I did not know Uncle Harold passed away. I met Uncle Harold a few times along with his twin brother, Uncle Hiram. I always thought it was funny their sister, Tillie, who is my grandmother named her twin boys after her brothers, Hiram and Harold. My daddy was Harold. I have been researching my genealogy and I have learned so much about my rich heritage! I now know why I love music so much. Not only did my Grandma Tillie play piano but I am learning Uncle Harold was also a musician. I wish I could here them play now. I am so proud of my ancestry and thank the lord my grandma, Tillie, raised me. She taught me what it was to be strong, brave, and instilled in me a NEVER GIVE UP attitude. I see that Uncle Harold also had this mentality as his obituary is quite impressive. One last note, I remember when grandma went to the nursing home. I went to visit her every Sunday with my daddy and his twin brother Hiram. My grandmother would always be sitting at the table with another woman laughing and talking about old times. The didn't know each other at least that is what they said. As we were leaving my daddy whispered in my ear, that there woman is grandma's sister, Melvina. I am glad to know they were not alone. Uncle Harold please know you are loved, missed, and I hope to carry on with your legacy making our family proud. Love, Joel Torres Halapin
