Harold Miller Obituary

MILLER Harold A. Miller, aged 83, died on September 18, 2005 in Baton Rouge, LA after evacuating for hurricane Katrina. He was born in New Orleans, LA on April 5, 1922 and resided in Bush, LA for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Navy as an aerographer in the Pacific. He was a graduate of Warren Easton - class of 1940 and graduated from LSU as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the American Legion. He was the assistant to the Chief Electrical Inspector for the City of New Orleans until he retired in 1985. His three children, Marilyn Miller, Michael Miller and Marlene Miller Goebel; his sister, Beverly Beck; and his four grandchildren survive him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Friday at 2:00 PM at Schoen Funeral Home in Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
