Harriet Seidler Junker

Harriet Seidler Junker, age 84, of Kenner, passed away on August 29, 2023. Harriet was born on August 2, 1939 to parents, Harry August Seidler and Sadie Sauviac Seidler. Harriet "Mawmaw" Junker was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to the care of her family and others through her in-home daycare. She had a profound impact on everyone she met, as everyone was always welcome in her home. Her wonderful cooking was enjoyed by all as she never let anyone in the neighborhood go hungry. She is survived by her three children, Milton H. Junker, Jr. (Anita), Paul E. Junker, Jessica J. Melder (Ron), three grandchildren, Milton H. Junker, III (Christina), Raechal A. Junker, Sarah E. Melder, three great-grandchildren, Arianna R. Hammons, Milton H. Junker, IV, Alexander R. Junker, and sister, Patricia S. Welp. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, LA 70001.
