I too remember Harry from St. Catherine, Jesuit and then Loyola where we studied together in pre-dent before I flunked out and switched to an easier curriculum. We also were BEGGARS and had great times together. He was a good friend to another BEGGAR, Larry Gubler, who was also in pre-dent for a very short time. Harry was very bright both academically and personality-wise. He was always positive and optimistic with never an unkind word or criticism coming from him. My condolences go out to his family.

Dear Joanne, Chip and Jenny,
Tony and I regret hearing of Harry's passing. My heart goes out to you but now you have another guardian angel. Harry was a terrific cousin-in-law. He was always a delight to listen to, talk to and have around at family gatherings. My mom adored him, my dad respected him and my brothers and I feel thankful to have known him. I wish I could give you all a big hug.

I grew up in the neighborhood, and remember Harry so well from being in class together at St. Catherine's (where he was definitely the "class clown!"), running into him on the bus in high school or at Jesuit/Mt. Carmel functions, and later on being with him again at Loyola (BEGGARS parties!) His great smile, outgoing personality and sense of humor were a gift to all who crossed his path. I hope that as you tell his stories, you will feel his love surrounding you and bringing you peace...

Joanne,
I'm so sorry to learn of Harry's passing. JoEllen and I send our very best wishes to you and your children.
Harry was a fine friend and I enjoyed working with him all those years at Lakeside Dental Care.
We are scheduled to leave town Friday morning and I'm sorry we will not be with you on Saturday.
Please accept my apologies as I really hoped the services would be next Mon or Tue when we could attend.
All my best; I know the last several years have been tough.
Fondest regards,
JoEllen and Jim Kiser

I love you, Dad. You were the best father I could have hoped for. The family always had fun together. You worked hard to provide for us and that you did. We wanted for nothing. You loved us with your whole heart and I have used that as a model for my family. I will miss you, but all I have to do is look in the mirror and there you are. Love forever, your son, Chip.

Harry will always be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor and charm. He was one of the most handsome men I have ever met and I am glad he was my dentist, employer and brother in law. Joanne, Chip and Jenny my heart goes out to you. Please know many rosaries will be said for Harry and you. Love, Marycatherine
