Helen Hebert Michel passed away peacefully on All Saints Day, November 1, 2023 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Paul Michel Sr. Loving mother of Joycelyn Treuil, Raymond Paul Michel Jr. (the late Betty), Ronald Michel (Beverly), Robert "Bobby" Michel, and the late Beverly Liuzza. Grandmother of Glen, Stephanie, Dustin, Christina, Jade, and the late Michael. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Eula Mae Hebert, Loney Hebert, Hazel Bourgeois, and Juanita Hebert. Daughter of the late Louise Olivier Hebert and Adolph Hebert. Helen was an active and devout member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. She was loved by many friends who she enjoyed spending time with while playing Bunco. She enjoyed casino bus trips and BINGO luncheons at New Orleans Ladies Ballroom. Visitation will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton Street in Algiers, LA on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9 am to 11 am. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment: Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
