I Only Went to School at West Jeff for a year and a half. Played football for one year, but the imprint that this man and his staff made upon me has lasted all my life. Not to many days past that I don't think about him and the other coaches. they taught us how to win and lose with character, and most of all to believe in yourself and what you are doing. I see the careers and fruits of his labor and love of teaching throughout the parish and beyond. I know he is always on my shoulder guiding me to do Things right. and he will always be til i'm gone.

Coach taught me that five yards was a good play and to keep trying to gain that five no matter what. That philosophy has served me pretty well over the years.

Mr.Stanley Crosby & Family;

Coach Crosby will be miss by so many who loved him dearly. The last words I had with him was to let him know that his Quarter-back from W.J class 0f '81 Stacy Powell had finally graduated from St.Leo Univesity in Atlanta,Ga. with a degree in Criminial Justice. He was so proud to hear that news! We will continue to keep you & your family in all of our Prayers. You know Coach Crosby finally won the biggest championship there is"The White Robe with the Golden Crown" may he rest in peace.Amen!
