Henry Marino Obituary

MARINO Henry "Henny" Marino died on Friday, February 22, 2008, at Ochsner Hospital at the age of 72. He was born on April 19, 1935, in New Orleans, LA to Salvadore and Ernestine Marino. Mr. Marino was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. He is a United States Navy Veteran and a former employee of The American Can Company and Ochsner Hospital. Once retired, Mr. Marino worked part-time at the Ronald McDonald House. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Althea Mancuso Marino; four daughters, Angela Marino Welch of Temecula, CA; April Marino Laughlin of New Orleans, LA; Amy Marino Schwankhart of Clarksville, TN; and Andrea Marino Sagers of Salt Lake City, UT; a dozen grandchildren, Lindsie, Joseph and Micaela Welch; Sara, Michael, and Jordan Laughlin; Emma and Jake Schwankhart; and Josi, Hattie, Chloe, and Elsa Sagers; a brother, Martin Marino; as well as many friends. He was very loved and will be greatly missed. He is predeceased by his father, mother, and two brothers, Jake and Joseph Marino. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
