He graduated high school from Garden District Academy, where he also met and fell in love with a redhead named Diana Hayden, whom he would later marry. After a brief stint at USL in Lafayette, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1966. He graduated from Loyola University. Henry had a successful career as a commercial real estate broker, starting out with Latter and Blum before launching his own firms of Henry Ogden & Co., and later Great Southern Properties. The family wishes to thank Tina Weber for her kindness and companionship for Henry, enhancing his quality of life in his final years. Also to Eunice Benson from Palliative Care and Zane Kirby, PA from the VA hospital for their never-ending support, and to Linda Manning, Amelia Conerly, and Krystal Williams for their compassion in the final months of Henry's life. Sorry to hear of your loss. I also attended Garden District Academy for 8 years along with several other Ogdens. I believe their names were Charlotte and Marnie. May he rest in peace!
