Holly Chetta Obituary

Holly Ann Chetta passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2023 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry John and Ernestine Blaise Chetta. Holly received three different degrees from Tulane University which included a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science and a Master in Public Health. After graduating, she worked as an Associate Realtor with Latter and Blum in New Orleans. The invaluable experience she received as an Associate Realtor was the springboard for her employment in the loan department at First Finance Bank in New Orleans. Later she began a career as personnel evaluator for the United States Transportation Department with the United States Coast Guard in New Orleans until her retirement. Idleness didn't suit Holly and with her vast experience she opened her own business, Mariner's World Central. Her company enabled her to work with mariners from all over the world assisting them in getting their maritime credentials. She was instrumental in furthering the careers of countless mariners and will be greatly missed. Services will be private with a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington.

I am so sadden to find this out about Mrs. Holly. She was a kind lady. I resent Lu found out when I called her phone number to find it had been changed so tried looking her up on google to get some maritime help with my steersman licenses. My heart goes out to her family.
