Dear Mem, I am so sorry that I was not there to say a final goodbye to you and to touch you one more time. You were my special memmere, and I love you with all my heart. I know you are in peace now and that there is no more pain for you. But the pain in my heart for you will be here for a very long time. You touched everyones heart and everyone who knew you could not help but love you. Your sense of humor your crazy faces will be missed so much. I still see you sitting in your chair with those little hands of yours crocheting your beautiful doilies. I see you sneaking into the kitchen to steal the cookies mom would make for you. I will miss hearing you call me ninna. I will miss so many things about you. But I will especially miss how you loved each and every one of us. I am so lucky and blessed to have had you for so long and to have had you for my grandmother. 100 years is still not long enough when I had a grandmother as special as you. Now you are with uncle len, and Roland and all of your family. I know someday we will all be together. Until them my sweet wonderful grandmother watch over as and if you can come and visit me in my dreams. I love you memmere

Hi Memmere
I know you are busy having your cup of tea with Uncle Len and Roland and all your sisters and Lou and ida and the so many others that went before you. I hope it's nice and warm up there and you see all of us down here talking to you every day and missing you and hurting from losing you. I did not want to say good bye to you and let you go. I know you stayed with us as long as you could and for that we are so grateful and lucky Mem. You filled out hearts with joy and happiness and you will never be forgotten. I am so glad we go to keep you for all these years!! The memories are endless and the joy you brought us is in our hearts forever and will never fade with time. You were the best grandmother any one could ever ask for and you will always be in our hearts and at our gatherings with a cup of tea!! I am so glad you knew how much you were loved Mem and I hope when you were not able to talk to us,you knew that we knew you were still trying to tell us you love us. You will be missed so much and will never be forgotten. I have the doilies all over the house like the rest of the girls. I give them a kiss every time I walk by them. I miss you Mem and I love you with all my heart. Tell Roland that he can have have you now and he can feel the love that you brought to us in all the years we had you. I know it was time to let go- but you will never be out of our hearts- we miss you Mem
I hope you are washing the hair I gave you in heaven! I promise not to screem. I love you Mem..

Dear Family of Ma Tante Ida, I was so sad to hear of the passing of Ma Tante Ida. She was my great aunt. My grandmother, Mathilda Demers, was her sister. I have good memories of visiting Ma Tante in RI when I was a child. I remember sitting in her kitchen with my mother (Janet Letourneau), my sister (Carol Landress), and my grandmother. There were always laughs, smiles, jokes (in French) and treats. I know Mathilda and Ida will be sharing some laughs in heaven. Sincerely, Diane (Letourneau) Ruffo

Dear Janet, Gena and family:
I am so very sorry for your loss, it hurts alot to loose your mom/gram.
Jackie, you wrote such beautiful words about your gram. Ida is telling her great jokes up in Heaven.

As You Honor Your Mother/Grandmother.....

You'll never forget: your mother's/gram's face, the sound of her voice, the gentleness of her touch...they let you know yiou were loved.

You'll never forget: the stories she told, the traditions she handed down...they let you know who you are.

You'll never forget: the lessons she taught, the things she stood for...they are her gift and your legacy.

You'll never forget, and you'll always know that you honor her every day in how you live and who you are.

Dear Memere,
I cannot believe you are gone. You have been such a huge part of my life for all of my life. You were one of the kindest and compassionate people that ever walked this earth. Always with a smile and a hug that could warm the coldest day. I loved you and love you more than you will ever know. I am so glad we told each other that often. I will treasue every "trinket" you gave me even though you would say that it's only junk. Your junk meant the world to me. Your doilies that you made for me and everyone else that would take one will be in my home forever. I will miss all the celebrity updates you would give me when I came over. Most of all, I will miss the unconditional love that you showered on me and everyone else who was lucky enough to have you in their life. Holidays and get togethers will not be the same without you there to share it with you drinking your cup of tea. I know that you know you were loved. There is an infinite feeling of sadness since you have passed. I know you missed your sons Roland and Uncle Len terribly. I am sure that they are so happy to have you but I am selfish and I wish you were here. Until we meet again Memere, keep eveyone up there smiling with your wittiness. Always know that I love you with all my heart and I will never ever forget you. I love you Memere, Jackie

Memere
Dear Memere,
I miss you more than you will ever know. I miss your smile, I miss the faces you used to make and I miss all the updates on the celebrities you used to give me when I came to visit. I cannot imagine what life will be like without you here. Always ready with a hug that could warm the coldest day. You have been a big part of my life for all of my 44 years and Jarred and Tyler loved you as much as I. You found your way into everyones heart and with such ease. Everyone loved you and you were everyones Memere. I looked around your bedroom yesterday and I expected you to walk in and pull that bin out from under your bed to give me more doilies that you made. They are beautiful even though you always thought they were not perfect. They were perfect Memere, just like you. I look at all the doo-dads you have given me over the years and though you always said they were junk, you will never know how much they have always meant to me. I wish you could have lived forever but I know you are with Roland and Uncle Len and all of the rest of your family now. I know you missed them terribly. How happy they must be to see you. We will meet again someday I know but until then, there will be an empty space in my life and in my heart. The kind of space that only a grandmother like you could ever fill. I love and loved you with all my heart. I know you are at peace now and you can call me selfish but I wish you were here with us. Until we meet again, I am sending you millions of hugs and kisses and a big creme puff. Rest in peace my beautiful Memere, Love Jackie
