Mannn Words can't even express how I feel and how I felt that you had left us =( it hurt so much and couldn't help but cry for you and how much i'm going to miss you. I'm going to miss your late night calls just to sing me Drake Brand new before I went to sleep and would tell me goodnight beautiful after. Isiah, its hard to think that our old group wont have the chance for a reunion cause it wont be the same without you. I miss all of us just hanging out at the apartment doing absolutely nothing. I miss hearing you make fun of Matts laugh. I miss you just sitting on the couch with your phone on one hand and your other twisting your hair. I miss you bugging me lol. I wish we could have gone back to the apartment days just one more time. I really hope I get the chance to go visit you at least once one last time. May you rest in peace and know that people in California miss you dearly.

There's not a day that doesn't go by that I don't think about my brother. Me and the WHOLE LC Football program love and miss you! Bro we spent everyday together at school. We were unstoppable. Still can't really believe you're gone...I remember those days back at Salmen like it was recent!! Basketball games, football games, practice, Mrs. Courtwright's class, etc imma miss you man. You definitely had an impact on myself and everyone you met. God only takes the best and he sure picked a pretty good one this time. I love you son lol I'll see you again one day

Just greatful that I had the oppurtunity to have ever met you! You brought so much positive to my negative life that I never got the chance to thank you. You've touched so many hearts that we all have a little something of you in us. You always brought a smile to my face everytime we talked. The thing that will always stick out with me, is the fact that Isiah was a quiet leader. He wasn't the rah rah in your face type, he was the lead by example type. He had a swag and calmness about him that was hard to describe. I'll never forget going to T.D. Jakes' Men's Conference with him, and praying that the Lord would make him the best athlete he could be and use his athletic ability to draw people to Him. Pastor Weathersby prayed while the other men laid hands on Isiah. On June 11, 2012, about 100 people gave their life to Christ because of his leadership. I'll use him as an example to youth I teach for years to come. One of a kind. CHOSEN by God to do His work in his way. I also remember him challenging me in basketball, so I took him to Cross Gates, and well let's just say my jump shot was with me. I think he was a freshman and he kept asking for a rematch, but I was to smart to give him one. Isiah, I thank you for chasing after God and fulfilling His purpose in your life. I'll see you again.
Zan and Corey, thank you for demonstrating the love of Christ in your life. The best sermon I ever received was not one that I heard, it was one that I saw. You show your spiritual maturity in your every day walk. I say to you, continue to walk it out. The mysteries of God will slowly be revealed to you. I think we got the answer to 'why Isiah?' at the funeral. He was the only one that could bring that diverse group of people together and get them to give their lives back to Christ. He was able to do that, because you trained him up in the way he should go. Awesome testimony.
I love you. If you ever need something, don't hesiTATE to holler at your boy. :)

It was a pleasure knowing such a wonderful and BLESSED young man like Isiah! He brought such a joy to my life and I doubt I will ever meet anyone like him again. Being at his homegoing celebration yesterday gave me such an inspiration to better myself so that I will be reunited with him in the end. After hearing all the kind words that everyone had to say, I realized that he was just as special to everyone else as he was to me. I'm beyond happy for my friend, he fulfilled his duties on Earth and God called him home to reap a great reward of eternal life. Zan and Corey, you did a wonderful job of raising him and he will be waiting to see us all again when the time comes. I love y'all so very much! Be blessed

To Isiah's loved ones, he was a gentle giant. As Isaih's advisor in St. Tammany Educational Talent Search (STETS) in 2009, it was a joy to meet with him in planning out his dreams to go on to college. I had the pleasure two weeks ago to speak with Isiah at his Pastor's Birthday Celebration. The smile, the hug, the happines of him seeing me there, will always be sketched in my mind that the work we did together was not in vain. I send God's Love to you and all of Isiah's friends; for we had a chance to meet one of God's angels on earth!
