CALLAIS Ivy M. Callais, Sr. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 5:17 AM. Age 98. Beloved husband of the late Mary E. Bosarge. Father of Portia Roberts, Andrea Callais and Ivy M. Callais, Jr. Brother of the late Eliska LaFont, Tesia Adams, Lustica Perez, Rose Pixley Callais, Ludwig, Charles Jr., Eads and Alces Callais. Uncle of Anna Robino and Ronald Callais. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A United States Army Veteran of WWII. Relatives and friends, also employees of St. Bernard Parish, staff and residents of St. Margaret's Daughters are invited to attend the Funeral services at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 West Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA 70043, on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Love and miss you paw-paw. Thank you for 98 years, you were the best grandfather anyone could have. You were the best great-grandfather to my children. Love your grandson Chad E. Robin and his wife Jenny and their children Kirstin and Jacob.
