Jabari Asante-Chioke Obituary

Jabari Asante-Chioke passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 52. Jabari is survived by his mother Ellis Hanchett, children: Malikah Asante-Chioke and Maliak Asante-Chioke; and grandchild Khloe Asante-Chioke. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife Raashida Asante-Chioke, brother Shedrick Anthony Powell, and father Willie Mcdowell. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 18, 2021, for 10:00 am at Franklin Ave Baptist Church, 2515 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Fred Luter Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA 70003.
