Jacob B. ""Jack'' Barattini, of Slidell, LA. on Saturday, September 13, 2003, at Slidell Memorial Hospital of heart failure. Beloved Father of: Todd Barattini, Slidell, LA. Father-in-Law of: Kathy Barattini. Son of the late: J. Bartholomew and Mary B. Barattini. Also survived by 2 grandchildren: Hannah and Hope. Age: 73 years. A native of New Orleans and resident of Slidell since 1970. A U. S. Army veteran. Owner of Barattini's Produce. Former employee of The New Orleans Fairgrounds. He was an accomplished Jazz Musician and member of Musicians Mutual Protective Union, Local 174-497, New Orleans. An avid cyclist and he enjoyed riding motorcycles, as well as a dedicated Father and will be sadly missed by his friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (In Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, LA. on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 7:30 P.M. Deacon Pete Faler, officiating. Private Inurnment at a later date. Visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Masses preferred in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Slidell, LA.

To Mr. Jack's Family,



I wanted to tell you how much he touched all of our lives. I work at his dentist office,(Dr. Anthony Tridico), and all of us at the office will miss him greatly. He always brightened our day when he was in for a visit. We offer our deepest sympathy to his entire family. Thank you for the chance to let us express how much he will be missed by everyone he touched.
