Jacques Bremond

Beauty is found in people and experiences, it crosses the globe, you know it when you encounter it, and it is bigger than just us. Go out and touch it. Jacques Bremond came to America from France in his twenties. Despite his lack of knowledge of the English language, he worked hard to find his way in this land of opportunity. He taught himself English, learned the restaurant business and became a restaurateur. Developing into a successful businessman, Jacques touched people in all that he did. He gave unselfishly to everyone. If you wanted to see him smiling, find him at a family gathering, with friends, fishing, hunting, watering his plants, and being in nature. He traveled the globe seeking experiences, understanding, and connections. He was full of questions always reading to increase his knowledge. He challenged us to know more. Whatever he did he gave it his all. Jacques adored his family, leaving behind a wife Tara, children Lise (Darren), Eric (Andre), Paul (Megan), Brianna (Andrew), Madisson, Bethany, and Serge. Additionally, blessed with grandchildren Mia, Alex, Landon, Dillon, Cayden, Daniel, Piper, Elayna, and one more on the way. Preceded in death by his brother Serge, he shared life with siblings Muriel and Pierre, and many nieces and nephews. Anyone whose life he touched is invited to join his family at his memorial service. The service will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mandeville on Thursday, July 5; at 5 pm. Visitation is from 3-5 pm. Although Jacques loved flowers very much, he loved helping people more. So in lieu of flowers, please donate to a place he held dear, the Janani home for girls in India. Your donation will provide clothing, food, and education to girls giving them new opportunities in life.
