James Galiano Obituary

James "Brother" Richard Galiano passed away on Monday evening, April 19, 2021. He was 71 years old. Loving father of Donna Chadwick (Marshall). Grandfather of Delana Chadwick and Isabella Chadwick. Brother of Cheryl Galiano and the late of Richie Galiano. Also survived by his former wife Donna Crosby. Uncle of Cheri, Brandee, Brittany. Great-uncle of Brooke and Brandy. James was a native of Harahan and has been a resident of the Northshore since 2005. He graduated from Delgado with a certification as a Diesel Mechanic, a trade that he mastered for many years. He was Head Diesel Mechanic for Landis Construction Company. He enjoyed fishing and working on race cars and boats, and especially enjoyed being a father and grandfather. Brother will be dearly missed by the many who loved him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Queen of Peace, 1501 West Causeway Approach, Mandeville, on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 12:00. Visitation will begin in church at 10:00. Interment will follow in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden. An online guestbook is available at www.gracenorthshore.com.
