James Millet Obituary

James ''Toe'' W. Millet on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 10:10 AM. Beloved husband of Debbie Chauvin Millet. Father of Michelle Millet. Son of the late Charles ''June'' and Mabel Richoux Millet. Brother and brother-in-law of Betty June and Ray Vice, Gilbert ''Boe'' and Carolyn Millet, Barbara P. and the late Michael P. Millet. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Age 56 years. A native and lifelong resident of LaPlace. Relatives and friends of the family, also former employees of Union Carbide, members of LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department, St. John's Sheriff's Office and all members of Masonic Progressive Lodge #262 are invited to attend services. Visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace, La. on Monday, December 6, 2004 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM followed by Religious Services in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM. Burial will be in St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace, LA.

Michelle and Debbie,

So sorry to hear the news. I lost my mother-in-law to cancer last year at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Peace be with you all this season.

"Toe", will be greatly missed by his close friends and family. He was a very dear & close friend to us. We will miss all the great fun we had during the summer swim parties and especially during high school football season. I know we will all miss him very much. My sympathy to Debbie and Michelle.
