Jim was intelligent, competitive, and always a cut-up in class. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him at Kearney High.

Dr Smith was mine and my husbands cardiologist for many years. He introduced my husband to Dr Breaux who extended his life through open heart surgery back in 1993. RIP Dr Smith, you were a great doctor. Kay J Koppenol

I'm sorry to hear that Dr. James Smith is no longer with us.
He treated my mother Bessie Cockerham for many years and had her so spoiled. It brokes my to hear this. When my mother passed he was at the funeral. I always spoke of him and wandered was he was.
My condolences

JIM went from client to a Great Friend . I got a chance to see the world and the life he lived through his perspective. To know Jim is to love him...I'm so glad I got a chance to meet a man who would help anybody he could...

All my Love to Siva, and to all of Jim's children and extended family. A moving tribute to a unique and complex man. What a life! An extremely full life, albeit cut too short.

Jim Smith is a great friend that made working closely with him to navigate some of the most challenging and complicated cardiac conditions and procedures.... he was cool under pressure.... fearless but also very confident and very conscientious about the patients well being and eventual improvement.... he was always one to have a different perspective , Jim had a " big heart ".... he cared ... he had a great intellect that he was able to use for the betterment of the people and patients ...he will be missed!... he will be remembered.... he left his sphere of influence in much better shape with everything and everyone ! Jim Smith was my friend !
