James Threats Obituary

James "JD" Deleon Threats was born on December 10, 1937 to the late Percy and Polly Threats. On Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 5:23 p.m. he was called home to be with Lord. James leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Marie Threats; 6 children: Della Joseph (Zeke), Demetury Stewart (Vincent), James Threats Jr. (Stacey), Earnest Threats, Latasha Threats (Rydell Stipe) and Michael Ware (Cheryl); 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Wake Service at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 2114 Rev. Richard Wilson Dr., Kenner, LA. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be at Mt. Zion Missionary B.C., Lake Providence, LA on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment: Way Way Cemetery, Lake Providence, LA. Richardson Funeral Home of Jefferson in charge of arrangements.
