Jeannette Anderson Troescher entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2021 at the age of 72. Jeannette was born in New Orleans on October 31, 1948, grew up in Gretna, and was a resident of Avondale, LA for the past 44 years. Beloved wife of Mitchell Troescher for 44 years. Mother of Lee Gray and Kevin Troescher, Sr. Grandmother of Kevin Troescher, Jr., Kaleb Leone, and Kyra Leone. Daughter of the late Betty Cohen Anderson. Sister of the late Helen A. Funkerburk (Bob). Sister-in-law of Deborah A. Troescher (late Rita). Aunt of Amy (Mark), Dana (Terry), and the late Charlsie. Great-aunt of Kinley, Jacob, and Gabriel. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Jeannette attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Archbishop Blenk High School, class of 1966. She had a passion for teaching young children. She was a teacher at Kay's Montessori School and ended her career as the school's director. She loved TV and especially loved talking on the phone. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time. Interment Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
