Kathy
I certainly will miss Jeff at our Troop 22 gatherings. He certainly was not "wordy" but when he did say something it was worth listening to. I always wondered what he was thinking when he gave us that sly smile of his. He will be certainly missed.
Please accept my condlences.

Kathy, and Family,
I spent many an hour, day [and night revelry too!] with Jeff- for my years in NO, from 1950 to 1960. I truly came to enjoy his rock solid reliabilty, friendship, support, and integrity. No matter what the program or activity one always could rely on Jeff to be there early, and be the last to leave.
Jeff and I spent many day as shipmates on the Sea Scout, and Privateer too. I memory serves me, we shipped together filling engineer billets on the Sea Scout, in 1957,58,59.
I loved every minute of it, and came to cherish those memories forever.
Kathy, after getting to know you, I can see how much you both deserved such worthy partners in love, in work, and in pleasure. What a fine team the two of you have made in everything you have done!!
When I next get to NO/Slidell environs, I promise to look you up to say hello again.

We certainly are going to miss Jeff and we have been missing him for the past six months. He was always trying to get me to go work out and take care of myself. I want to thank you and Jeff for including me in all the good times we have had.

I first knew Jeff as a kid when I lived on Lowerline Street. We were scouts together and I was privileged to see him at a Ship 22 reunion last year. God be with you all at this time of sorrow.

We fondly remember Jeff as an avid sailor and all-around good guy. We go back to his days as a Sea Scout and are so glad we had the opportunity to visit with him in Ocean Springs after many years of being out of touch. We remembered him at chuch this morning.
