Jesse Gould

Mr. Jesse Gould a native of Yazoo City, MS and a resident of Kenner, LA, ascended to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Jesse was well known as Uncle Jesse, Mr. Gould or Gould Man. Mr. Gould was 81 years old. He retired from James Construction (T. L. James) in 2007 after over 25 years. He was a Deacon at the Faith of Hope M. B. C. where he served for 48 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Denis and AnnieBell Gould, his daughter Meisha Fisher, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters: Natasha Lewis and Elisha Fisher, bonus sons: James Jones, Edward Johnson, Shawn Fisher and Donovan Williams, bonus daughters: Tyronda Fisher, Fredia Haywood, and Dominique Edwards, 2 sisters: Lovace Johnson and Alice Wells, 1 brother Nathan Gould (Katie), 2 sisters-in-law: Sadie Gould and Deborah Gould, 1 brother-in-law Derick Houston (Sandra), 36 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation service will be held at Faith of Hope M. B. C. on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Oakland Baptist Church, 825 Reverend Richard Wilson Drive, Kenner, LA 70062 on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:00am. Visitation will be 8:00am – 10:00am. Burial will be at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
