Jill Ann Johnson

Jill Ann Johnson, age 57, a native of New Orleans and resident of Paincourtville, LA, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. She was a loving daughter, mother, cousin, and friend. Jill gave generously of her time and talents serving as a volunteer board member of the Assumption Parish Library Board for many years where she currently served as Vice President. Additionally, she made a positive impact on the lives of many children in the foster care system through her service to CASA as a Court Appointed Special Advocate as a volunteer and currently serving as a supervisor. Jill also loved getting together with her friends, Mardi Gras, reading, music, watching her TV shows, her cat Scooby and her jeep. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children, Rachel Barbier (Jules) and Riley Barbier and her mother, Polly Johnson. She is preceded in death by her father Clyde "Mike" Johnson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Entombment to follow in the church cemetery.
