Joey Martin Obituary

MARTIN Joey Michael Martin was born on September 2, 1956, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 3:20 AM at Ochsner Medical Center/Westbank surrounded by dear friends and family members. He is survived by his common-law wife for the past 15 years, Doris "Cindy Lou" Bitoun. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Joseph Martin and Bernadette Adams Martin and a sister, Judy Martin Graves. He is survived by his very dear friend, Dudley J. Boudreaux, Jr., his brothers, Errol Joseph (Henrietta) Martin, Sr. and Randy Paul (Sharon) Martin, Sr., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved canine companion, "Rocky". Relatives, friends and employees of Houma Industries are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Information or directions, call 504.366.4343.
