John Lloyd Ewens

EWENS John Lloyd Ewens passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at his parent's home in Grand Forks, ND of natural causes. He was 23 years young and had lived in Grand Forks since 1995. John was born April 19, 1989 at Saint Lukes (Meritcare) Hospital in Fargo, ND the son of Mark Edward and Jolie Ducorbier Loomas-Ewens. John attendedHoly Spirit Catholic School inFargo, then Holy Family Catholic School in Grand Forks through 6th grade. He transferred to Sacred Heart in East Grand Forks, MN where he graduated High School in 2007. John is survived by his parents Mark and Jolie Ewens as well as 4 brothers: David Ewens - New Orleans; Daniel Ewens; Nicholas Ewens and Stephen Ewens, all of Grand Forks; grandmother, Catherine (O'Donnell) Ewens; grandparents, Robert and Letty (Bourgeois) Loomas all of Harahan, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Ewens of Harahan, Louisiana. Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service in Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Friday.
