John was the best Boss anyone could have. In addition, he was someone who you could talk to about anything with and he would put that rainbow at the end of your dark clouds! I miss you so much( you will always be my Boss) He will never be forgotten in my heart.

I knew John as a fellow adjunct accounting instructor at Nunez Community College. He helped many students succeed, especially in the upper level courses. When John fell seriously ill at mid-term several semesters ago, he later unselfishly returned to finish the semester so those students could complete the course. I feel fortunate to have known him. With kind thoughts and prayers.

John and I were classmates at Jesuit and often sat together on the bus to and from City Park for track practice. What an easy going guy with a great sense of humor- we laughed a lot! Prayers and thoughts for those that have been close to him, as you know you've lost someone special

I lost a Boss that was Godsent, genuine, faithful, well liked who I'll never see again. It really hurt my heart knowing I will not have a chance to tell the best man who changed life for me Thank You for believing in me to the very end! I had to pass his office knowing I'll never see him again, my angel, my favorite boss, my best friend! Life is short and even though you're not here, I know you're another angel protecting me and will still be always near! May you Rest In Peace my favorite Boss, JoHn M. Hemstreet!
