Rest In Peace until Jesus returns again.

John and I met when I was in High School, Francis T Nichols, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He lived down the street from me, on St Ferdinand. He had a nice 240Z car and he gave me a ride to school one morning. I was reluctant to accept the ride, but I did and that's where our friendship began. He was the first guy that took me out on a official date, to a restaurant on Royal street. He learned about my religion on that first date, and eventually became baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Our paths crossed several times after that.
He was a very kind person, always smiling and happy. I would say to him, you better make it to heaven so that you can see at least one star in my crown.
My condolences to John's family, especially to Nancy and her grandson Taylor, John's great nephew, whom he adored.May God give you comfort and peace, at this difficult time in your life.
John will be greatly missed by many, but let us look forward to that day when we will meet each other and our creator, in heaven. Le us prepare our hearts so that we will be there to see John, and many other loved ones.

My condolences to John's family. You are greatly missed. We knew each other since my teen years when he and Helen dated. We shared many walks and outings together and we always got many laughs at the single outings. You were like a brother to me that older brother when I needed someone to talk to and vice a versa. May you Rest In Peace till the trump is sounded.

Our deepest condolences to John's family. He was a great friend to us for many years. We met him in the mid-90s at the St. Bernard SDA Church. He was a loving, kind and giving person - always putting others before himself; John never knew a stranger, he loved helping people and neighbors in need. He will be missed!
May he rest in peace, until our Savior returns!
