I was stunned to learn of John's death at our Duke reunion this past weekend. He was a dear friend from our days in Durham and my visits to his homes in the French Quarter and the Garden District. He had that special sparkle that makes life rich and full. My prayers are with his family and friends.

Barbara,

I will forever remember John with his gleeful, chortle. He was a clever, charismatic person and a brilliant lawyer. It was my pleasure to be his paralegal for 5 years. (My very first job). I am so sorry for your loss.
