I pray that by God's grace you will find the peace and strength you need to deal with the loss of Jonathan, a great husband, father, and friend.

I pray that the special thoughts you have of him will make you happy and not too sad.

Jonathan,

You are such a special person who will always bring laughter to all of us.

Your laughter and kindness was unmatched and will always hold a special place in my heart. Each time I think of you I will always remember how you made me laugh. I always looked forward to seeing you and Angela at the Saints games.

Now you are in your eternal home and I know you are sharing your youth, vibrance and laughter in the greatest place.

I know that God wants to decorate the heavens with young and pretty flowers, too, which is why he called on you; but your absence here on earth will be sorely missed.

I love you and each time I think of you I will always remember one of the best people I will ever know.

Love always,

Melissa

We wish there were words that could comfort you all, ease your pain, and release your anger but there are none. Please know how our hearts ache for your loss.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will help you to heal and guide you through this devastating time.

And may we add Lord, you guys up there had better hold on tight 'cause there's gonna be a whole lotta shaking going on now that Jono's arrived!

Linda, Angela, Gavin, Tommy, Caroline, Sara, Lauren, The Lyons, Hingle and Donahue Family,

Jonathan was a very special part of my life for many many years as you all already know, so long ago that I can’t really remember when I actually met him. It was somewhere around 5th Grade on the Holy Cross bus that we use to ride together. We clicked early, became friends and got very close. We shared a lot of experiences together over those many years and I will never forget them. They will always be vivid in my memories. Jonathan considered my family part of his own and I considered his part of mine. That being said, I considered him family, like my brother. I share your loss as this terrible time. The reason that I have taken so long to sign his guest book is that I have been without words. I feel these words will never be completely conveyed. I loved him dearly and he will be deeply missed.

Angela,

I know this is coming a little late, But we are sincerely sorry for your loss. Jonathon will be greatly missed. We all know how much he would be disappointed to see us sad at his passing, but we all have a new ally upstairs where we need it most. You know you have a large network of people to lean on if you need us. Just let us know and we will be there.

All of our love Billy, Roxann and Elizabeth Davis

P.S. See you around Brewer!!!

Angela, Gavin, and family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I loved jonathan very much. Jon-O was always the life of every party. I could always count on Jon-O spilling something before I did. I can not imagine a party without him. Jonthan will always be with us and I feel lucky that he was a part of my life.

On April 3rd I lost someone. This someone was crazy, funny, happy, loved everything and everyone. This someone helped start the Brewers (TKE Softball Team) left the team, then came back after taking a lot of heat from my self and Christian. This someone loved the N.O. Saints and hated them, then loved them again.

This someone would call me when the Saints had an away game and invite himself to my house for a party that he told me I was having. This someone loved to win and couldnt stand to lose. This someone was my Pledge Brother in TKE and my Brother for life. This someone stood in my wedding and I in his. This someone I proudly call my Friend. A Friend like no other friend. A Friend I love, cherish, and will deeply miss BUT WILL NEVER FORGET. I will see my Friend again one day when my time comes. And when I see my Friend I will ask him, Where is the $15 you owe me from the TKE Softball Tournament you SOB.

Try not to be sad, but be happy that we were lucky to have JohnO in our lives.

With Love

I honestly don't know where to begin.... I keep thinking that I will wake up and this nightmare will be over!

Jonathan will be forever missed by a lot of people. If you knew him for five minutes or for a lifetime you will NEVER forget him. I was fortunate enough to have Jonathan in my life since the 4th grade and couldn't begin to tell you about the times we've had (although I'm sure many of you had heard - all JonO's fault, of course). And through all of these times (looking back), all I can do is smile.

Jonathan loved life and lived every minute as if it was his last.

NO REGRETS - That's our motto.....and I think that is something that we all have learned from him.

TO LIVE YOUR LIFE - WITH NO REGRETS!!!

I Love You JonO! Angela, Gavin, the entire Lyons, Donahue and Hingle families will forever be in my heart!

To Angela, Gavin and their families,

Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. Jonathon was such a wonderful person, a great friend and a loving husband. He was always happy and the life of any party he attended. I remember how much fun he was during Kelly and Tabatha's wedding throughout all of the showers and parties. He constantly made me laugh when I was around.

Johnaton was an angel on earth and now he will be your angel looking over you and Gavin from heaven.

All our love and prayers are with you and your family.

Angela, Tommy, Caroline, Linda, Sara, and Lauren,

I am terribly sorry for your loss. Jonathan was an incredible person, so full of life all of the time. He was the life of the party and so enjoyed having a good time. I will never forget watching him take a walk with my son and thinking, WOW what an incredible dad he is going to be. He was for a short time. Gavin will love hearing stories about his dad. He was one in a million and we have many stories to share with him. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the peace and strength that you need to see you through this time in your life. I love you all.

To Jonathan's family & friends:

I am so sorry for your loss. I have such great memories and so do all of our friends. Jonathan was "one of a kind" in so many ways! He was always the life of the party. One of his many ways to make us laugh was to do cart-wheels from the terrace at the Saints game all the way to the bottom. He was such an entertainer & didn't mind being the center of attention. On behalf of all of Jono's friends, nothing will be the same. We will miss you at every Saints game, every party, every crawfish boil, every barbeque, every gathering. I feel very fortunate to have known Jonathan Lyons. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone whose lives have been touched by him. We will forever miss Jono.
