Joe was a kind and cheerful person. He always had a gentle smile for us. His favorite things to watch were Football and Baseball. We all have wonderful memories of Joe, when we all lived in Ames,Iowa and when he came to Fort Collins, for a short time, after Katrina. We will miss Joe very much.

I will always remember Joe as a man of few words and a handsome smile. He would call you by name and as you answered there was that smile. So kind and gentle, a man who would be so attentive to conversations and engage with a smile. You are dearly missed, but as we know, you are now in the arms our Lord and Savior, fully aware and awake.

May the eternal life of Joseph bring peace and comfort to Shelton and my other Joseph brothers, the Blanchard and other family members. RIP Joe as the Heavenly angels lift you to your eternal glory. Love, Paulette
