Jovan Wayne "Nue" Brown

1997 - 2023

Jovan Wayne Brown "Nue" went on to be with the lord on Sept. 3, 2023 at the age of 26. He was born in New Orleans, La. on June 3, 1997 to Stacie Blanchard and Joseph Brown, Jr. Nue graduated from Slidell High School and later obtained his CDL certification, becoming a truck driver by trade and taking pride in making an honest living. He led a joyful, loving, and humorous life, always trying to see the best in any situation. Nue was jovial and loved to crack jokes, a true comedian at heart; a true peacemaker with a heart of gold who was always in good spirits. He enjoyed recording music and was passionate about passing on his knowledge to the generation behind him. Nue was a prodigious mentor to his younger brothers and cousins. He cherished every moment spent with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Jerome Blanchard Sr. He is survived by his mother Stacie Blanchard, father Joseph Brown, Jr., two brothers Joseph III and Jaquan Brown, sister Layla Williams, four half siblings Breionn, Kerionne, Jarel, and Juelz Brown, stepfather Bryan Williams and stepsister Bryah Williams. He leaves behind to cherish his memory two grandmothers, Cynthia Blanchard and Constance Brown, niece Ava Brown, and a host of family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic Church are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Saint Mary of the Angels Church, 3501 N.
