Joyce Billy Augustine entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was a Licensed Cosmetologist. Beloved wife of the late Edward Raymond Augustine. Loving mother of Calvin Augustine, Carl Augustine, Byron Augustine, Bonita Augustine-Alexis, and Kevin Augustine. Daughter of the late Alfred Billy and Mildred Billy. Sister of Ronald Billy, Shirley Scott, Mildred Bell, and the late William Billy, Alton Billy, Robert Billy, Doris James, Myrtle Billy, Leola Grossley, and Hazel Graves; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 81 years, a native of Donaldsonville, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Primary CarePlus, Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office, WWL Radio (Intercom New Orleans), 870 AM and 105.3 FM, and Southern Yacht Club are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 329 Jamie Blvd. Avondale, LA on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Joseph Dau Nguyen, celebrant. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
