Joyce Patricia Bouligney

Joyce Patricia Bouligney entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 87. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Joyce was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was a retired seamstress of Deansgate Clothing Factory. Devoted wife of the late Matthew Bouligney. Loving mother of Pamela (Alfred) Parker, James S. (Karen) Lynch, and Carl (Jacqueline) Lynch. Grandmother of the late James S. Lynch. Daughter of the late Isadore Washington and Josie L. Washington. Sister of Barbara Allen, and the late Carolyn Washington. Godmother of the late Kjnell Richson. Sister-in-law of the late Frank Bouligney and Michael Allen, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church 3512 Highway 90 Avondale, LA on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the church.
