A kind and loyal friend supportive to all that encircle her. Helpful, encouraging, happy, energetic, inclusive, forgiving, kind, caring, appreciative, knowledgeable, witty, fun and funny; This is how I remember her. Many family birthday celebrations, holiday gatherings and weekends we did share. It was so easy to see her joy of family. This is her legacy and treasure. I am fortunate having known her.

Beth,
I am sorry I wasn't able to be there for you as you were for me only a few short months ago. Bruce and I were out of town. Take comfort in knowing that our mothers are together remembering the good old days.

Dear Beth and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about the death of your mom. She was a wonderful, kind and sweet person. I remember once I ran into her walking in Norco and she paid me one of the best and most sincere compliments I've ever received and I think of that often. You were all lucky to have her as a mother and for so long! Your friend always,

Mama,
My most deeply fond memories of the time we shared are of the mornings spent at the library and the evenings sitting on your lap in your rocker, along with another sibling (or two), while you read to us. It is the safe, happy place to which I have longed to return during difficult times. There are so many other fond memories - memories that melt together to create a warm blanket of a lifetime of fun, family and love.
There are no adequate words to honor you, my Mama, whose devotion, dedication, intelligence, talent, belief in excellence and faith in God were the foundation of the most wonderfully incredible times.
While having nine children seems so large to others, it seems very small to me. Only nine people in the entire world were blessed at their conception to have you as their mother. It baffles me that I was fortunate enough to be one of that truly tiny number, but I gratefully accept and thank God for his unique gift.
Rest peacefully, Mama. I love you and thank you with all my heart. You will be with me always. I will pray for you. I know you will pray for me and all of us, as you always have.
