Jodi and Charles, I was very saddened to read of your mother's recent illness and passing. Judy was such a loving and loyal friend and neighbor to my mother, Helen Nolan, for many years, and I always enjoyed seeing her when visiting Inez Drive, especially during daiquiri hour. We shared so many stories and laughs. My deepest condolences.

I realized something listening to you speak at the funeral today, Jodi. Your dad's death and my dad's accident were the same year. So all those sleepovers your mom had four kids struggling with missing dad, you and CJ grieving yours, and Mike and I unable to visit for the months ours was in the hospital. Your wonderfully selfless mother just put her grief second and loved all four of us as hard as she good. Looking back from today's vantage point, I still don't know how she did it, but it is exactly the type of person she was. Love you, Ms Judy, thanks for being another parent, I will never forget you.

It is our HONOR to have known Judy these past 20 years, first as a State Farm customer and soon thereafter as a SPECIAL lady whom we considered our friend. Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the family.

Judy was one of the most selfless person I have ever met. She loved her family more than life itself. She dedicated her life to her children, Jodi and CJ after losing her husband at a young age. She never regretted not doing things for herself. She was a very special friend, second mom and sister to me. I love you and will miss you dearly!
