Judy Belle Vicknair Millet

Judy Belle Vicknair Millet entered into eternal life on Saturday, August 13, 2022, following a long-term battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on April 28, 1939, to the late Winnie Madere Vicknair and Leandre Vicknair. She is predeceased by her husband of over sixty years and childhood sweetheart, Lester Millet, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Lester Millet, III, and Leandre Millet; her daughter, Winnie Millet D'Angelo; her daughters-in-law, Vicki Poche Millet and Courtney Porteous Millet; her son-in-law, Leonard D'Angelo; her seven grandchildren, Leonard D'Angelo, Robert D'Angelo (Megan), John D'Angelo, Lester Millet, IV, Christopher Millet (Emily), Leandre "Michael" Millet, Jr. (Kati), and Jeffrey Millet (Jessica); and her great grandchild, Leo Michael Millet. Judy Belle was a native of Montz, Louisiana. She resided her entire adult life in LaPlace, Louisiana. She worked in the family business. She enjoyed spending time with, and taking care of, her grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her family that she was devoted to her entire life, as well as by many dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass to be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and internment will follow the Mass in St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery.
