Edmund,

I remember talking to your Mom at Greg's wedding. That was 7 years ago, but I still remember our conversation. She was a very sweet lady, and I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Ford, Jones, Edmond and all the Dieth family. I was so surprised at Julie's passing and saddened to hear of it. I remember Julie for her incomparable humor and spirit and GREAT chuckly laugh and grrrreat party food. I feel lucky that Kevin and Jones were such good friends in high school. She will be missed by so many. Love from Valerie (and Kevin and Eric too).

Julie was an amazing friend and teacher, the essence of a loving person in every aspect of her life. I consider myself lucky to have been her kindergarten assistant, 1990-2005. She taught me so much, and I saw her have such a positive impact on so many students' lives. Once you were one of Julie's "kids," it was for the rest of your life!

December 24, 2013

Julie was an amazing friend and teacher. I had the privilege of being her kindergarten assistant 1990-2005, and we had many adventures together during that time, all of which sprang from her generous heart and loving nature. We will all miss her so much.

My prayers are with you all. Ford, I always told your mom that you were the reason we decided to send Mitchell to St. Martins. Then Mitchell had her for his teacher and I knew we had been doubly blessed. She will be sorely missed and now rests in Heaven.

Dear Dieth Family,
I knew Julie foremost for many years as "Jones' Mom," the loving and graceful woman at birthday and class parties, as well as other school events. Later, when I went into education, I was fortunate to consider her a professional colleague. I was always impressed with her compassion, creativity, and love for her life's work. Though we taught at different schools, I always looked forward or seeing her at ISAS events and catching up on Dieth family news. She has certainly touched many lives and led a life that was a true example for all who knew her.
