Julie Marange Obituary

Julie Angele Marange was found killed on Saturday, December 2, 2017, in her home in Mandeville, La. She was born on January 24, 1980, in Covington, La., to Robert "Bobby" Marange and Cindy Knight Marange. Julie was also the beloved stepdaughter of Jacqueline Morgan Marange. Julie was the loving stepmother of Natalya and Javan Dargis. She is survived by her stepchildren, her mother Cindy Marange, father and stepmother, Robert and Jacqueline Marange, her sister Jill Marange Zeringue (Chris) and niece and nephew Gabriella and Landon Zeringue. Julie is also survived by her cousin and best friend, Tonia Knight Villere, as well as Ronnie and Yvonne Marange and family, Lloyd Sr. Lala and family, Brenda Jenkins and family, Mercedes Miller and family, and Johnny Marange's family. Julie was a ray of sunshine to anyone she met. Her compassion for helping people was evident in the work she did. Julie had been working in the Hospice industry for ten years. Passages Hospice was near and dear to her heart, and she was a driving force in the new Longbranch Recovery Center in Abita Springs. Julie had a positive outlook on life, was quick-witted and kept those around her laughing. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, La., on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Julie Marange Donation account at Chase Bank. These funds will be used to carry on Julie's compassionate spirit of helping others, through Passages Hospice, Longbranch Recovery Center, and many other passions close to Julie's heart.
