I am so sorry I missed you. I used to drop by whenever I drove in from Houston to check up on you and to enjoy conversations about Elvis and The Beetles and share wisdoms. The last time I tried to stop in, the wind was blowing leaves around, the mail was stacked up, and there was a stillness in time that I'd never experienced when visiting you. I wanted you to meet my wife and baby boy. I wish I could have seen you sooner. May you have fun wherever you may be and share all you've found down here. Love you Mrs. Karen. You will always be missed.

Karen was a one- of- a-kind character -- very bright, funny & eccentric. When we were in high school together in the 1960s, she made both my skirt and blouse for me in home ec class because I couldn't get the hang of sewing & she could do it beautifully even back then. She was a member of the pack of teens who used to play the juke box & hang out at the Kosco's house in Kenner. She was always fun & mischievous. I will sincerely miss her.

As neighbors of the Eagan Family we were all very fond of Karen and enjoyed chatting with her throughout the years. She had a joyful personality which is also reflected in her daughter and grandchildren, who she always beamed about in our conversations.
We were sorry to hear of Karen's passing and we would like to express our sincere sympathy and condolences to the entire Eagan family.
