Katie Marie Williams entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Beloved mother of Demetrius Williams, Regina Irvin, Ray (Kim) Irvin Sr. and the late Myron Irvin Jr.; Daughter of the late Arthur and Katie Shaw Williams; Sister of the late Samuel Williams, Percy Williams, Emma Jean Simon, Bobbie Jean Williams, Patricia Williams and Ruth Cager; Sister-in-law of Sandra S. Williams and the late Joan Cambrice; Step mother of Chanell Irvin Meyers, Chantell Irvin Jones, Byron Irvin and Bryan Irvin. Also survived by her former husband and lifelong friend, Myron Irvin Sr., eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by one grandchild, Madix Irvin. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of New Israel Baptist Church, First Zion Missionary Baptist Church and The Way Ministries are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, August 3, 2024 beginning 10:00 a.m. at New Israel Baptist Church, 6322 St. Claude Avenue, Pastor Keith Haywood, officiating.
