My sincerest condolences to Erica and the Carter family for your loss of a man who was larger than life and one I was privileged to call a friend for over 20 years.
I'm picturing Kendall wearing an LSU sweatshirt, with a cigar in one hand and a cocktail in the other, both smiling that smile and laughing that laugh, while watching over all of us from above.
Godspeed Kendall...I will miss you terribly, but I will always remember you.

GOD allowed me the privilege of touring with Kendall on his last tour. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He will be sorely missed. He touched everyone he came across, either with his smile or his ability to make you smile. RIP my man.

My deepest condolences go out to Erica and Kendall's family. I only met Kendall once when I was in Nashville for the first time. His dear friend, Walt, set up a meeting between the two of us, as well as his wife. In the brief time that I knew him, Kendall was incredibly kind to me, agreeing to meet after only having spoken on the phone, providing me directions, and cracking jokes. We went to Cracker Barrel (also my first time there). I was very grateful for him and his wife's hospitality and generosity. Rest In Peace.

Over the years I had many opportunities to spend a day or two with Kendall when passing through our market in my responsibilities as Production Director with Bill Graham Presents/Live Nation San Francisco. In our industry we have the opportunity to interact with many people, but it takes that unique individual to make your time together special. He was the warm, friendly guy that I looked forward to spending time with. I was deeply saddened to hear that he would no longer be stopping by.
My deepest sympathies to his wife, his children and entire family. Kendall Carter, it was an honor and a pleasure to know you. Rest In Peace my friend.

I first met Kendall in the 80"s can't remember the 1st tour, as i am sure we could not remember some of those days, He was a hard worker and you could tell that, by the dirt on his T shirt and his face, I had some great times with Kendall, and even the bad times were good, another great man lost to Soon . I'm going to miss getting that phone call when he pops into town and having all those great dinners and talks. I worked side by side with Kendall on a few tours and he always made my day better. Rest in peace Kendall. See you on the other side.

What a wonderful guy Kendall was. It was a privilege to serve as his pastor over the past few years. He was always kind, soft spoken, and willing to help in any way he could. We will definitely miss him at GC Church. But I am confident we will see him again. Rest in HIS presence my friend.
