Kenneth J. 'Kenny' Johnson

Kenneth J. 'Kenny' Johnson, age 62, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2018 after a long, brave battle with liver disease. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter F. Johnson, Sr., and Marie H. Johnson, brother Wayne Thomas Johnson and nephew Wayne T. "Shae" Johnson. He is survived by his brothers Walter F. Johnson, Jr. and Warren J. Johnson, sister-in-law Suzanne Johnson, niece Shannon Johnson Uschold (Jim), great nieces Doriana and Ariana Uschold and a host of relatives and friends. Kenneth was a native New Orleanian and resident of Algiers. He was a master cabinet maker and finish/trim carpenter who owned and operated Johnson Cabinets and Interior Woodworks, LLC. Over the years he worked with many contractors on commercial and residential jobs in the New Orleans area and on construction projects in California and Connecticut. He was also an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU football fan who will be misted by family and friends. At Kenneth's request, there will be a private memorial held at a later date.
